School Meals

Healthy school meals are prepared on the premises by our cook, Mr Colin Howlett, who also, with help from the staff, serves them to the children.

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receive a free school lunch everyday. The cost of a school meal is £2.80 for children in Key Stage 2. Children may also bring packed lunches, which must be in clearly marked boxes.

Any parents who think they may be entitled to free school meals are encouraged to contact the school office where these enquiries will be dealt with in confidence.

In order to help with the administration and ordering, parents must inform School in writing, giving two full weeks’ notice, if a child is to change their lunchtime arrangements.

The weekly dinner money is paid on the school’s ParentPay system in advance. School meals cost £14.00 per week (£2.80 per day). Payment may also be made half-termly or termly; amounts are advertised in the newsletter at the end of the previous term or on ParentPay.
