Our Aims and Visions

Our mission is to enrich the lives of our children, to inspire them to reach their full potential, to develop a love of learning and to respect and care for one another.

Love of Learning- At Grassington Church of England Primary School we aim to provide an inclusive, meaningful and enjoyable curriculum, to inspire and encourage pupils to achieve to the best of their ability and to take pride in their learning.

We aim to develop lively, enquiring, creative and imaginative minds which enable the children to become self-motivated, life-long learners.

Respect and care- Our 7Cs Code encourages respect and care for one another. Based on Christian values, it encourages our pupils to behave considerately towards each other and to others in our community and beyond, so that they can become responsible, active citizens with a strong understanding of British values.

Faith- We are proud to be a Church of England School. We promote the values and beliefs of the Christian faith while respecting and celebrating the beliefs and cultures of others.

Being healthy and safe-We aim to help our pupils develop their understanding and knowledge of how to be healthy and the importance of adopting healthy and safe lifestyles through active participation in sport and through a balanced programme of personal, social, health and economic education.

Everyone matters- At Grassington CE (VC) Primary School every child is valued and nurtured as an individual. We aim to develop the social and emotional well-being of every one to give them the confidence to shine in life and in their learning.
